What one coin weighs
The rule
A drachma was never a promise. It was a measure of silver, and anyone could check it on a balance.
There is a reserve of HYPE behind this coin. Divide it by the number of coins and you have what one weighs. Both numbers are public, so you can do the division yourself and get the same answer this screen does.
Three doors lead into the reserve. Every one of them leaves the coin heavier than it found it, or exactly as heavy. There is no fourth.
Right now
By design
One billion coins, created once. Nothing can add to them: not the team, not a key, not a role, not the contract itself.
A melt leaves 1 % of itself behind. That is what makes someone leaving a gain for everyone who stayed instead of a wash.
A finder keeps 0.25 % of what a strike commits, counted inside the test that allows the strike at all. The mint pays its own keeper out of the margin.
The reserve may commit a fifth of itself a day, refilling as the day goes, so it can never be emptied in a block.
Native HYPE against DRACHMA on Uniswap v4, the 1 % tier, no hook.
Every one of those is fixed when the contracts are created. Zero switches any of them off, and nothing moves them afterwards, because there is nobody left who could.
Melt
Hand in the coin, take the metal. You are paid the weight, to the wei, less the fee that stays behind.
Why this is the floor
No owner can stop it. There is no queue, no cooldown, no list and no condition at all beyond your own balance.
So if the market ever quotes DRACHMA below what it weighs, anyone can buy it there and melt it here. The floor is not defended by a treasury with a mandate, it is defended by arithmetic and by whoever notices first.
Rounding always goes the hoard's way, by a wei if it has to, so a melt can never lower the weight for the people who stayed. And the fee that stays makes every coin that stayed heavier.
Strike
When DRACHMA trades for less than it weighs, the reserve buys it and burns every coin it gets.

Why it cannot be tricked
It is allowed on one condition: what it bought, weighed at the old rate, must cover what it spent.
That is measured on the fill. The swap happens, then the contract looks at how many coins actually arrived for the HYPE that actually left. Worse than the weight and the whole transaction reverts, so the trade never happened.
There is therefore no price to feed it and nothing to corner. Push the market down to make it buy and you have sold it coins for less than their metal, which is a gift to every holder who did nothing.
Anyone may call it. The finder's fee is counted inside that same test, so a keeper is paid out of the weight the strike added and never out of the weight that was already there. The budget refills through the day.
The stele
Athens carved its public accounts into stone and stood them where anyone could read them. Same thing here: every time the weight moved, and what moved it, newest first.
| Block | Event | DRACHMA | HYPE | Weight after | Who |

DRACHMA
Seventy-one lines. The whole supply is created once, in the constructor, and after that nothing can add a unit.
Not the team, not a key, not a role, not the contract itself. No owner, no pause, no fee on transfer, no list. The only thing that changes the supply is burning, and burning only subtracts.
A weight you can dilute is not a weight. Everything on these screens holds because the denominator cannot be inflated.
The hoard
One contract. No owner, no admin key, no upgrade path, no pause.
HYPE goes in from anywhere and from anyone. It comes out one way only: in exchange for coins that stop existing.
Anything that lands there by accident is folded in by a call anybody can make. Stray HYPE joins the reserve, stray DRACHMA is burned, so nothing sent there is ever stuck and nobody has to ask anyone.
The reserve asset is fixed at birth. It is native HYPE here, and the same code backs the coin with any token put in that slot, which makes it a deployment decision and never a vote. The marks and the palette
